Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, ensuring they are spaced well apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Pair with cold milk or warm coffee. For added decadence, drizzle melted white chocolate on top or serve with vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze the dough for later baking.
