Preparation
- Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, white chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows.
- Microwave for 1 minute, then stir with a greased spatula to combine evenly.
- Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.
- Let the melted mixture cool for about 1 minute to thicken slightly.
- Gently fold in the chopped red and green gumdrops or chewy candies.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it evenly into a flat layer.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serving
- Once chilled and firm, lift the candy out of the dish by lifting the parchment paper.
- Remove the paper and cut the candy into small, bite-sized pieces.
Notes
Store the pieces in an airtight container for optimal freshness. They can last for up to two weeks in the refrigerator or up to 3 months in the freezer when well-wrapped.
