Preparation
- Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it to prevent sticking. Set aside.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, white chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows.
- Microwave for 1 minute, then stir with a greased spatula. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.
- Let the melted mixture cool for about 1 minute to thicken slightly.
- Gently fold in the chopped red and green gumdrops or chewy candies.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it evenly with a spatula.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully set.
Serving
- Once chilled and firm, lift the candy out of the dish using the parchment paper. Remove the paper and cut into small, bite-sized pieces.
- Serve as is or pair with other treats like cookies and hot chocolate.
Notes
Best when stored in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days. Refrigerate for longer storage, or freeze well-wrapped to prevent freezer burn.
