Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the cheddar, mozzarella, and pepper jack cheeses until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, beer, egg, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until the batter is smooth.
Cooking
  1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to a temperature of 375 degrees F.
  2. Dip each cheese ball into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  3. Carefully drop them into the hot oil and fry in batches for about 2-3 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  4. Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried cheese balls, placing them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Serving
  1. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara or ranch dressing.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F to restore crispiness. Avoid freezing due to potential texture loss.
