  • 1.5 cups graham cracker or burçak biscuit crumbs You can substitute burçak biscuits if preferred.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
For the filling
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for a smooth filling.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup whipped cream Fold carefully into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Pineapple slices for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form a firm base.
Filling
  1. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  3. Gently stir in the drained crushed pineapple until evenly distributed.
  4. Fold in the whipped cream carefully, ensuring everything is blended together.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in your springform pan, smoothing the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the cheesecake is set and slightly golden.
  2. Allow it to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes
