For the Pizza Loaf
  • 1 loaf loaf of French bread
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced yellow bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise and hollow out the center to create a well in both halves.
  3. Spread marinara sauce evenly on both halves.
  4. Layer the ingredients: Start with the mozzarella cheese, then add pepperoni, the diced bell peppers, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes on one half.
  5. Top with the other half of the bread to create a delicious sandwich.
  6. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  9. Enjoy!

Notes

Serve with a side of fresh salad or garlic bread. For storing leftovers, allow to cool completely before wrapping tightly. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
