Preparation
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen fries package.
- Spread the frozen fries evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake following package instructions until golden brown and crispy.
Topping
- Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.
- Return the fries to the oven for just a few minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Take them out and add on the crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
Assembly
- In a small bowl, combine the sour cream and ranch dressing until smooth.
- Drizzle this mixture over your loaded fries.
- Lastly, season with salt and pepper to taste, and they’re ready to serve!
Notes
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best texture. Avoid microwaving to prevent sogginess. For variations, consider using pulled pork, shredded chicken, or a vegetarian option with black beans and corn.
