  • 1 bag frozen french fries Choose high-quality frozen fries.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For a spicy twist, consider using pepper jack cheese.
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Turkey or veggie bacon can be used.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen fries package.
  2. Spread the frozen fries evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake following package instructions until golden brown and crispy.
Topping
  1. Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.
  2. Return the fries to the oven for just a few minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  3. Take them out and add on the crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
Assembly
  1. In a small bowl, combine the sour cream and ranch dressing until smooth.
  2. Drizzle this mixture over your loaded fries.
  3. Lastly, season with salt and pepper to taste, and they’re ready to serve!

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best texture. Avoid microwaving to prevent sogginess. For variations, consider using pulled pork, shredded chicken, or a vegetarian option with black beans and corn.
