Crust

  • 1 package Crescent dough sheets Used as the pizza crust base

Toppings

  • 8 oz Cream cheese Spread on the crust
  • 1 lb Ground beef Cooked with taco seasoning
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning To flavor the ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream Drizzled over the pizza
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Sprinkle on top before baking
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce Fresh topping added after baking
  • 1/2 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved and added as a topping
  • to taste Hot sauce For added kick

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the crescent dough package instructions.
  • Roll out the crescent dough on a baking sheet, creating a delightful pizza crust.
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef with taco seasoning, cooking until fully done and fragrant.
  • Spread a layer of cream cheese evenly over your doughy pizza base.
  • Top it off with the seasoned ground beef, a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese, and a satisfying drizzle of sour cream.
  • Pop it in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until that crust turns a lovely golden brown.
  • Once it’s baked, let it cool for just a couple of minutes.
  • Finish your masterpiece with a heap of shredded lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, and a splash of hot sauce for an extra kick.
  • Slice it up, serve warm, and enjoy every bite!

Notes

For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese. You can experiment with different cheeses for extra flavor or make a vegetarian version using black beans or lentils. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
