Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with taco seasoning.
- In a baking dish, start layering: spread refried beans, then a layer of meat, followed by diced tomatoes, black olives, and a sprinkle of taco sauce.
- Place a tortilla on top and repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
Cooking
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, garnish with sour cream and green onions before serving.
Notes
Serve hot, paired with a fresh salad, crunchy tortilla chips and salsa for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days or frozen for up to three months.
