Ingredients
  

For Apple Dump Cake

  • 9 large large Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored, diced)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp apple pie spice
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup cold butter (sliced into pats)

For Pecan Dump Cake

  • 2 3/4 cups dark brown sugar (packed, divided into 2 cups & 3/4 cup)
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup pecan halves (divided into 3 cups & 1 cup)

For Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

  • 42 oz strawberry pie filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup salted butter (cold)

For Blueberry Cream Cheese Dump Cake

  • 42 oz blueberry pie filling

For Chocolate Dump Cake

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 5.1 oz instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

For Lemon Dump Cake

  • 2 jars lemon curd
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Miscellaneous

  • 6 cups cold water For mixing with other ingredients.
  • 1/4 cup melted butter For mixing with other ingredients.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven as per normal cake preparation.

Apple Dump Cake

  • Combine apples, lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, and spices in a baking dish, layer with cake mix, top with butter pats, bake until golden.

Pecan Dump Cake

  • Mix dark brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla, then mix with pecans and cake mix, pour hot water over top, and bake until set.

Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

  • Mix pie filling with cream cheese, sour cream, and powdered sugar. Layer with cake mix and butter, bake until bubbly.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Dump Cake

  • Follow the same directions as Strawberry but with blueberry filling.

Chocolate Dump Cake

  • Mix melted butter with cake mix, pudding, and milk, add chocolate chips on top, and bake until done.

Lemon Dump Cake

  • Mix lemon curd with cream cheese, egg, and sugar, layer on prepped cake mix and butter, and bake until firm.

Notes

Serve warm, drizzled with caramel sauce, and paired with vanilla ice cream or fresh fruit. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze sliced pieces.
