Ingredients
  

For the sandwich
  • 2 large sub sandwich rolls Freshly baked for best flavor.
  • 4 slices deli turkey
  • 4 slices deli ham
  • 4 slices provolone cheese Or other cheese of your choice.
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce Use fresh greens for crunch.
  • 1 medium tomato Sliced.
  • 1/4 medium red onion Thinly sliced.
  • 4–6 slices pickles
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard Adjust amount to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Lightly toast the sub rolls in a toaster or on a skillet until golden.
  2. Prep all fillings: slice tomato and onion, shred lettuce, and lay out meats, cheese, and condiments.
Assembly
  1. Slice the toasted sub rolls lengthwise and spread mayo and mustard on each side.
  2. Layer turkey, ham, and provolone first, then top with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
  3. Gently press the sandwich together, wrap in parchment, and let sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Slice in half and serve fresh or wrap to go.

Notes

Serve with crispy potato chips or a garden salad. Store leftovers in the refrigerator; best eaten within 24 hours. Experiment with different cheeses and toppings for variety.
