- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef or turkey with the chopped onion and green bell pepper until the meat is no longer pink.
- Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
Baking
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- If you’d like, sprinkle shredded cheese on top for that gooey finish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbling, and the cheese is melted.
