Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven as per the pie crust instructions.
  • Place the rolled pie crust in a baking dish and prick the bottom.
  • Bake the pie crust until golden brown.

Cooking

  • In a saucepan, mix water, sugar, and cornstarch over medium heat until it thickens.
  • Stir in the strawberry gelatin mix until dissolved.
  • Add sliced fresh strawberries to the mixture.
  • Pour the strawberry mixture over the baked crust.

Chilling and Serving

  • Let it cool, then chill in the refrigerator.
  • Serve chilled with whipped topping.

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage. Prick the bottom of the pie crust before baking to prevent bubbling.
