For Cream Cheese Strawberry Pie

  • Preheat the oven and prepare the pie crust.
  • In a bowl, mix cold water with gelatin and let it sit to bloom.
  • In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then mix in the whipped cream.
  • Combine this mixture with the bloomed gelatin and pour it into the crust.
  • For the topping, mix sliced strawberries, jam, and the prepared gelatin mixture.
  • Spread it over the cream cheese filling.
  • Chill the pie in the refrigerator before serving.

For Fresh Strawberry Pie

  • Bake the rolled pie crust and brush it with beaten egg white.
  • In a pot, combine water, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and gelatin mix.
  • Cook until thickened and then remove from heat.
  • Pour this mixture over the halved strawberries placed in the pie crust.
  • Let it set in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor. Let the pie chill for several hours for a better set. Be careful not to overmix the cream cheese filling to keep it creamy. Variations: You can add other fruits, like blueberries or raspberries, to either pie for a mixed berry flavor. Additionally, consider incorporating a graham cracker crust for a different texture.
