  • cup diced strawberries (approximately 3 to 4 strawberries) Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 tbsp sugar Adjust sweetness as desired.
  • ½ cup milk Almond or oat milk can be used for a dairy-free option.
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup Add more to taste.
  • tsp matcha Sift to prevent clumps.
  • cup filtered water
  • 1 handful ice cubes

Preparation

  • In a food processor, puree the strawberries with the sugar. Set aside.
  • Whisk together the milk and maple syrup in a separate bowl. Set aside.
  • Whisk together the matcha and filtered water until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a glass, start by adding a handful of ice cubes.
  • Layer in the strawberry puree, followed by the sweetened milk, and finally top it off with the matcha mixture.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Best served chilled.
