Ingredients
  

For the Matcha Latte

  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder (ceremonial grade) Use ceremonial grade for the best flavor.
  • 2 oz hot water
  • 1 teaspoon liquid sweetener (e.g. agave nectar) Adjust sweetness according to preference.
  • 5 oz milk (dairy or plant-based, I prefer oat milk) Use any milk you prefer.
  • to taste ice Fill glass halfway.

For the Strawberry Sweet Cream

  • 2-3 medium strawberries Use fresh strawberries for sweeter taste.
  • 2 oz heavy cream For a creamier texture, consider using whipped coconut cream.
  • 1 oz milk
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener Add based on your sweetness preference.

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder and hot water until smooth and frothy. Add the liquid sweetener and combine well.
  • In a glass, fill it halfway with ice and pour in the matcha mixture. Top it off with the milk of your choice. Stir gently to combine.

For the Strawberry Sweet Cream

  • Blend the strawberries until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the additional milk and sweetener until soft peaks form.
  • Gently fold in the blended strawberries to create a marbled effect.
  • Spoon the strawberry sweet cream over the matcha latte and enjoy.

Notes

For a refreshing experience, pair your Strawberry Matcha Latte with a light salad or a slice of almond cake. Best enjoyed fresh, and store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container.
