Preparation
- Start by cutting the angel food cake into slices and placing a layer in the bottom of your serving dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk; whisk until thickened.
- Fold in the sour cream and half of the whipped topping to make it creamy.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the cake layer.
- Pour half of the strawberry pie filling on top of the pudding layer.
- Repeat these layers with the remaining cake, pudding mixture, and strawberry filling.
- Top it off with the remaining whipped topping for a beautiful finish.
- Finally, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let all the flavors meld together.
