Ingredients
  

For the crust

  • 5 tablespoons butter Melted
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

For the filling

  • 16 ounces cream cheese Softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup cold whipping cream
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip

For the topping

  • 10 strawberries, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons strawberry gelatin

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar together. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish to form a crust.
  • In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, almond extract, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Fold in the whipped cream and Cool Whip until well combined.
  • In a small bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in hot water and then add the sliced strawberries to the mixture.

Assembly

  • Layer the cream cheese mixture over the crust, followed by the strawberry gelatin mixture with strawberries.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

To store Strawberry Delight, cover it tightly with plastic wrap or foil. Keep it in the refrigerator, where it can stay fresh for about 3-4 days. It’s best served cold, so take it out just before serving. Make sure to let the cream cheese soften at room temperature for a smooth filling. Substitute other fruits if desired.
