  • 1 pound frozen bread dough Thaw properly before rolling out.
  • 21 ounces strawberry pie filling
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon Adjust to taste.
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Pour over rolls before baking.

Frosting

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar Add more for extra sweetness.
  • 1/8 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese Ensure it's softened.
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice Enhances flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the bread dough package instructions.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground cinnamon and granulated sugar.
  • Roll out the frozen bread dough into a rectangle.
  • Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mixture over the filling.
  • Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into slices.
  • Place the slices in a greased baking dish and pour the heavy cream over them.

Baking

  • Bake according to the bread dough instructions until golden brown.

Frosting

  • Mix the powdered sugar, heavy cream, cream cheese, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Drizzle the frosting over the warm rolls and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm and fresh out of the oven. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Freeze tightly wrapped for longer storage.
