Ingredients
  

For the rolls

  • 1 pound frozen bread dough Thawed according to package instructions
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon Adjust to taste
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar Adjust to taste
  • 21 ounces strawberry pie filling Can substitute with fresh strawberries mixed with sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

For the frosting

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar Adjust for desired thickness
  • 1/8 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese Softened
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Thaw the frozen bread dough according to package instructions.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
  • Sprinkle ground cinnamon and sugar evenly over the dough.
  • Spread the strawberry pie filling over the dough.
  • Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into rolls.
  • Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and pour heavy cream over them.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Frosting

  • For the frosting, mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, heavy cream, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Drizzle frosting over warm rolls and serve.

Notes

Serve warm with plenty of frosting drizzled on top. Pairs well with coffee or milk. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days or refrigerate for a week. Reheat in the microwave as desired.
