  • 42 ounces strawberry pie filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Make sure cream cheese is softened before mixing.
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 15.25 ounces white cake mix
  • 1 cup salted butter, melted Drizzle evenly over the cake mix for best results.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the strawberry pie filling, cream cheese, sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the strawberry mixture into a greased baking dish.
  • Evenly sprinkle the white cake mix over the top of the strawberry mixture.
  • Melt the salted butter and drizzle it over the cake mix.

Baking

  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Consider adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top for an extra treat. Fresh strawberries on the side can enhance the flavor. To store, cover tightly and refrigerate for 3-4 days or freeze for up to a month.
