Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 42 ounces strawberry pie filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar adjust based on taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the cake

  • 15.25 ounces white cake mix
  • 1 cup salted butter melted

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry pie filling, cream cheese, sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well until everything is blended.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the white cake mix evenly over the top of the strawberry mixture.
  • Melt the salted butter and drizzle it over the cake mix.

Baking

  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the cake is golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature with whipped cream or ice cream. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months and thaw in the refrigerator before serving. Consider adding graham cracker crumbs for extra texture.
