Strawberry Cheesecake Crunch Nachos
A fun dessert that combines the classic flavors of cheesecake and strawberries in a delightful twist on traditional nachos.
Ingredients
Tortilla Chips
- 6–8 pieces flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Toppings
- 1 cup crushed freeze-dried strawberries
- 1 cup crushed Golden Oreos
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Cheesecake Dip
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Strawberry Sauce
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the flour tortillas into triangles and brush them with melted butter.
- In a bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Coat the tortillas with this mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the tortillas for 8–10 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.
Topping Preparation
- Mix the crushed freeze-dried strawberries, crushed Oreos, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter in a small bowl.
Cheesecake Dip Preparation
- Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
- Gently fold in the heavy whipping cream until combined.
Strawberry Sauce Preparation
- Cook the diced strawberries with sugar and lemon juice in a small saucepan over medium heat until it thickens slightly.
Assembly
- Sprinkle the strawberry and Oreo topping over the baked tortillas.
- Serve with the cheesecake dip and warm strawberry sauce on the side.
Notes
For extra sweetness, sprinkle more sugar on the tortillas before baking. Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth dip. Use different toppings like crushed cookies or nuts for added crunch.
