  • 1 piece store-bought flatbread or naan
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, thinly sliced Use ripe, sweet strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 small red onion, very thinly sliced (optional) Omit if you prefer a milder flavor.
  • 1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese or feta Feel free to substitute with ricotta or mozzarella.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For brushing the flatbread.

Toppings

  • 1 teaspoon balsamic glaze
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional) Add for extra sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or mint For garnish.
  • 1 pinch salt To taste.
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper To taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Place the flatbread on a baking sheet and brush it lightly with olive oil.
  • Layer the sliced strawberries and, if you choose, the red onion over the flatbread.
  • Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese on top, and add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Drizzle with honey if you want some extra sweetness.

Baking

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the flatbread is golden and the cheese is slightly melted.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or mint.
  • Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat briefly in the oven to restore crispiness. You can customize toppings by adding sliced peaches, figs, or arugula.
