  • 1 piece flatbread or naan
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup goat cheese or ricotta You can experiment with different cheeses like feta or cream cheese.
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze Plus more for drizzling.
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • to taste salt and black pepper
  • Fresh basil or mint leaves, torn

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Place the flatbread on a baking sheet and lightly brush it with olive oil.
  • Spread the goat cheese or ricotta evenly over the flatbread.
  • Top with sliced strawberries and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crisp.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle generously with balsamic glaze.
  • Garnish with torn fresh herbs, and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes. For a savory twist, add thinly sliced prosciutto or sprinkle nuts on top. Use vegan cheese and maple syrup for a vegan version.
