Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 6 cups Fresh peaches, sliced Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Sugar Adjust based on sweetness of peaches.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Batter

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Milk Can substitute with almond or soy milk.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix sliced peaches with sugar and cinnamon, then set aside.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  • Stir in melted butter and milk until just mixed.

Baking

  • In a baking dish, pour the peach mixture, then pour the batter on top.
  • Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

To store leftovers, cool completely and cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil in the refrigerator. Best eaten within 3-5 days, and can be reheated before serving.
