  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small sweet onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the diced onion and minced garlic until the meat is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles with the meat mixture and sour cream.
  6. Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with a fresh garden salad or garlic bread. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or frozen for up to three months. Reheat in the oven for best results. For added flavor, consider adding spices or swapping proteins.
