Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix the chopped pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Baking
- Pour half of the cake batter into the bundt pan, then layer the pecan mixture on top. Pour the remaining cake batter over the pecan filling.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
Glazing
- To make the glaze, combine powdered sugar and milk until smooth and drizzle over the cooled cake.
Notes
For best results, ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. Let the glaze set before slicing. Cake can be served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
