  • 2 cups cornflakes cereal
  • 1 cup mini pretzels
  • 1 cup roasted almonds
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Can be substituted with dark chocolate chips.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup shredded coconut Can be substituted with chopped dried fruit.
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries Can be substituted with raisins.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornflakes, mini pretzels, roasted almonds, shredded coconut, and dried cranberries.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients and gently toss to coat everything evenly.
  4. Transfer the mix to a large resealable plastic bag, then add the white chocolate chips and powdered sugar.
  5. Seal the bag and shake gently until the powdered sugar coats all the ingredients and the white chocolate chips are well distributed.
  6. Spread the snack mix onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, allowing it to set at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
Storage
  1. Once set, store your delicious mix in an airtight container for up to one week.

Notes

For best results, melt butter gently in short bursts in the microwave. Toss gently to keep chocolate chips intact. Customize by adding favorite nuts or snacks.
