  • 1 package 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened Make sure the cream cheese is very soft for a smooth blend.
  • 6 ounces 6 ounces smoked salmon, chopped Use high-quality smoked salmon for the best flavor.
  • 0.25 cup 0.25 cup capers, or to taste Adjust the amount of capers to your taste for added brininess.
  • 2 tablespoons 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
  • 1.5 teaspoons 1.5 teaspoons chopped fresh dill Garnish with additional dill for a fresh finish.
  • 0.25 cup 0.25 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 dashes 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 drops 3 drops hot pepper sauce For a spicy twist, incorporate some sriracha or jalapeƱo pepper.
  • 1 squeeze 1 squeeze fresh lemon juice Include a bit of orange or lime zest for a citrusy kick.

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients.
  • Process cream cheese in a food processor to soften completely.
  • Add smoked salmon, capers, green onion, dill, cream, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, and lemon juice. Process the mixture again until creamy and smooth.
  • Transfer dip into a bowl; garnish with additional dill and serve with your favorite crackers.

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Avoid freezing as the texture may change. Can be made a day in advance.
