  • 1 pound smoked brisket, shredded Can be substituted with shredded chicken or pulled pork.
  • 1 cup beer cheese dip Use a good-quality beer cheese dip for best flavor.
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough Frozen biscuit dough can also be used; ensure it is thawed completely before use.
  • 1/4 cup baking soda For the baking soda solution.
  • 2 cups warm water
  • Coarse salt To sprinkle on top before baking.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the warm water and baking soda until fully dissolved.
  3. Roll out each piece of biscuit dough into a flat circle.
  4. In the center of each dough circle, place a spoonful of the shredded smoked brisket and a dollop of beer cheese dip.
  5. Gather the edges of the dough and seal them tightly around the filling.
  6. Dip each pretzel bomb into the baking soda solution before placing them on a baking sheet.
  7. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle coarse salt over the tops.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they turn a beautiful golden brown.

Notes

Serve with spicy mustard or zesty barbecue sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, and reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
