Preparation
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef or turkey over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the browned meat to the slow cooker.
- Add onion, carrots, potatoes, diced tomatoes, beef broth, green beans, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
- Stir to combine.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Serve hot with crusty bread or rolls.
Notes
Cool and store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to 3 months.
