Ingredients
  

Hot Chocolate Base
  • 2.5 cups 2 1/2 cups heavy cream For the mixture
  • 4 cups 4 cups whole milk
  • 14 ounces 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Chocolate Infusion
  • 1 cup 1 cup heavy cream For whisking
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoa powder
  • 2 cups 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Can be swapped for dark chocolate
Garnish (optional)
  • Mini marshmallows For topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In your slow cooker, combine 2 1/2 cups of heavy cream, whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder and 1 cup of heavy cream until smooth and lump-free.
  3. Add the cocoa mixture to the slow cooker, followed by the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir everything to combine well.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally until the chocolate melts and the mixture is thoroughly heated.
  2. Serve warm, topped with mini marshmallows, whipped cream, or a drizzle of chocolate.
