  • 8 oz Angel hair pasta Use according to package instructions

Shrimp and Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 lb Medium shrimp Fresh or thawed
  • 4 tbsp Butter Unsalted preferred
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning Adjust to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and chopped onion to the skillet, sauté until fragrant.
  • Add the medium shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning, simmer for a few minutes.
  • Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp and sauce.

Serving

  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat with a little extra cream or butter to keep it moist. You can also add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
