  • 340 grams fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 450 grams large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Cooking Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon neutral cooking oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain.

Preparing the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
  • Stir in the butter, allowing it to melt, and combine everything.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well mixed.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve hot, optionally with a fresh side salad or garlic bread.

Notes

For best results, use a high-quality pasta and cook the shrimp just until they turn pink. Save some pasta water to help thicken the sauce if needed.
