  • 12 oz linguine
  • 1 lb chicken breast Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic Chopped
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the linguine according to package instructions in salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  • Add chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Season the chicken with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

Making the Sauce

  • Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Add the cooked linguine to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Add pasta water if the sauce is too thick.

Serving

  • Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat with a splash of milk or cream. You can customize with veggies like spinach or swap chicken for shrimp.
