Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 2 packages crescent rolls Use refrigerated crescent roll dough.

Filling

  • 1 package cooked sausage crumbles Heated through in a skillet.
  • 4 large eggs Whisked together with other ingredients.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For topping.
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese For topping.
  • 1 cup milk For the egg mixture.
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour For thickening the egg mixture.
  • To taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • Optional chopped green onions For garnish.
  • Optional hot sauce For serving.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the crescent rolls on a baking sheet to form a crust.
  • In a skillet, cook the sausage crumbles until heated through.

Cooking

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the sausage and scramble them together until the eggs are fully cooked.
  • Spread the sausage gravy mixture over the crescent roll crust.
  • Top with shredded cheddar and pepper jack cheeses.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven and add optional toppings if desired.
  • Cut into slices and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
