Ingredients
  

Salsa Ingredients

  • 28 oz Whole Plum Peeled Tomatoes, do not drain Use a can of quality whole tomatoes for best flavor.
  • 1 Small White Onion, peeled and quartered
  • 2 pieces Jalapeño Peppers, seeds removed Adjust quantity for spice preference.
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic Cloves, peeled
  • ½ bunch Cilantro Fresh cilantro enhances the flavor.
  • 2 Tbsp Juice of Lime About half a lime.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • ¼ tsp Granulated Sugar, optional Use to balance acidity.

Preparation

  • Place all ingredients in the food processor (except the sugar) and pulse until desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust salt and sugar to taste, if needed.
  • Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before consuming.

Notes

Store leftover salsa in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. To freeze, pour into freezer-safe bags, removing air, and it can last for up to three months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.
