  • 5 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 1.5 cups mini pretzels, broken into pieces
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1.5 cups red and green M&Ms
  • 1 cup mini peanut butter cups
  • 1.5 cups semisweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1.5 cups creamy peanut butter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the Rice Chex cereal and broken pretzel pieces, ensuring even distribution.
  2. Melt the peanut butter and chocolate chips together on low heat or in the microwave, stirring frequently until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted peanut butter and chocolate mixture over the cereal and pretzel mix, stirring gently to coat evenly.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes until it begins to set.
Coating
  1. Place ½ cup of powdered sugar in a large bowl. Add half of the chilled mixture, sprinkle another ½ cup of powdered sugar, then add the remaining mixture.
  2. Gently stir and toss the mixture to coat evenly with powdered sugar.
  3. Return the mixture to the refrigerator for an additional 30 to 60 minutes to fully set.
Finishing Touches
  1. Add M&Ms and mini peanut butter cups to the mixture.
  2. Transfer the finished Reindeer Food to a serving bowl and enjoy.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 5–7 days. Use high-quality chocolate chips for a richer flavor. Adjust powdered sugar based on your sweetness preference.
