- In a large bowl, combine the corn Chex cereal, peanuts, and mini pretzels.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt together the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Stir vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal mixture, stirring gently to coat evenly.
- Transfer the cereal mixture into a large resealable plastic bag.
- Add powdered sugar to the bag, seal it, and shake vigorously until the mixture is well coated.
- Spread the coated mixture out on waxed paper to cool and dry.
- Once cooled, mix in the M&M's.
- Store in an airtight container.
Notes
Store your Reindeer Chow in an airtight container to keep it fresh. It can be kept at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, consider refrigerating or freezing the mixture in a sealed bag for up to three months.
