Preparation
- Remove the silver skin from the ribs, coat the ribs with yellow mustard, and then apply BBQ rub.
Cooking
- Smoke or bake the ribs at 250°F for 3–4 hours, spritzing with apple juice as needed for moisture.
- In a saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients and simmer until smooth and thickened.
- Brush the ribs with the glaze for the final 30 minutes of cooking. For extra caramelization, broil if desired.
Serving
- Allow the ribs to rest before serving. Offer extra glaze on the side for dipping.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze them for up to 3 months. Marinating the ribs overnight enhances flavor.
