For the filling
  • 1 cup caramel sauce Use high-quality for richer flavor.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Optional to melt for a chocolate shell.
  • Sea salt for topping Sprinkle on top before serving.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzel crumbs with melted butter until well blended.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch pan.
  3. Pour the caramel sauce over the pretzel crust and spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel layer and gently press them in.
  5. Allow to cool in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  6. Once set, cut into bars, sprinkle with sea salt, and enjoy!

Notes

These bars can be served on their own or paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. For an even more festive touch, drizzle extra caramel sauce or chocolate over the top before serving.
