  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree can use fresh or canned
  • 1/4 cup milk at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg at room temperature

Filling Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts optional for added crunch
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce for drizzling on top

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • In a separate bowl, mix pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, and egg.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, kneading for a few minutes until the dough is smooth.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

Assembly

  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spreading it with melted butter and sprinkling with brown sugar and nuts.
  • Roll the dough tightly and slice it into individual rolls.
  • Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
  • Let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Baking

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
