  • 1 cup 1 cup cold milk Cold milk helps to set the pudding.
  • 1 tub 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed Ensure Cool Whip is fully thawed for best mixing.

Preparation

  • Gather a mixing bowl and whisk; no heating required.
  • Whisk the pudding mix with cold milk until smooth and thickened.
  • Let the pudding rest for 2 minutes to set slightly.
  • Gently fold in Cool Whip until fluffy and fully combined.
  • Chill frosting for 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Spread or pipe onto cakes, cupcakes, or desserts. Use immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days. Can be frozen, but texture may change upon thawing. Reheat gently if needed, best enjoyed fresh. For firmer frosting, chill longer before spreading.
