Waffle Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla flavored)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add the eggs, oats, cottage cheese, and protein powder into a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend very well until smooth and no clumps remain.
  3. Heat a waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Cooking
  1. Once the waffle iron is hot, pour spoonfuls of the batter to cover the iron.
  2. Cook the waffle until crispy on the edges.
  3. Remove from the waffle iron and repeat with the remaining batter.
Serving
  1. Serve the waffles immediately with your favorite sweet or savory toppings.

Notes

To store, place leftover waffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze with parchment paper in between for longer storage. Reheat directly from the freezer or in the toaster.
