Preparation

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, mashed banana, vanilla extract, honey, and cinnamon.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for about 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats are cooked and creamy.
  • Remove from heat and let it sit for a minute.
  • Serve in bowls topped with your choice of fresh fruits and nuts.

Notes

Pair with fresh fruit salads or Greek yogurt for an indulgent touch. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze portions for up to a month. Reheat with a splash of almond milk.
