  • 1 can 8 ounce can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 pound lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 3/4 cup Old El Paso Thick 'n Chunky salsa
  • 2 tablespoons Old El Paso taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the salsa and taco seasoning; cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Unroll the crescent rolls and arrange them in a baking dish, sealing edges to create a crust.
  5. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
  6. Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until crescent rolls are golden brown.
  8. Top with shredded lettuce before serving.

Notes

Crispier crust can be achieved by pre-baking the crescent roll crust for 5 minutes. Customize with other toppings like guacamole or sour cream.
