  • 1 lb steak, thinly sliced Use flank or sirloin steak for best results.
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 8-10 slices White American Cheese Feel free to mix with other cheeses.
  • 20 oz bag McCain Quick Cook Waffle Cut Fries Substitute with any frozen fries if preferred.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven and cook the waffle fries according to package instructions until crispy.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and green bell peppers, sautéing until softened.
  • Season the steak slices with garlic salt and black pepper, then add them to the skillet with the vegetables. Cook until the steak is browned.
  • Once the fries are done, place them on a serving plate and top with the steak and vegetable mixture.
  • Layer the White American cheese slices on top and return to the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
