  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 8-10 slices White American Cheese Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese.
  • 20 oz bag McCain Quick Cook Waffle Cut Fries Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven and cook the waffle fries according to package instructions.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper, sauté until soft.
  • Add the thinly sliced steak, garlic salt, and black pepper to the skillet.
  • Cook until the steak is browned.
  • Once the fries are done, place them on a serving platter.
  • Top the fries with the steak and veggie mixture.
  • Layer the American cheese slices on top, and return to the oven briefly until the cheese melts.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
