  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef steak
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the onions and bell peppers until softened.
  3. Add the beef steak to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Roll out the crescent roll dough and arrange in a ring on a baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture onto the dough, then sprinkle with provolone cheese.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

Pairs well with crispy French fries or a fresh salad. For storage, leftovers can be kept in the fridge for up to three days, or freeze the unbaked ring for a month. Bake from frozen with added time.
