  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 pound sliced roast beef
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, shredded

  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, sauté the sliced onion and green bell pepper until soft.
  • Add the sliced roast beef to the skillet and warm through, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it out in a ring shape on a baking sheet.
  • Place a portion of the meat mixture on the widest part of the dough and top with provolone cheese.
  • Fold the dough over the filling to create a ring, sealing the edges.
  • Brush the top with the beaten egg.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store any leftover Philly Cheesesteak Crescent Ring in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop it in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through.
