Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the onions and bell peppers until softened.
- Add the beef steak to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and arrange in a ring on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto the dough, then sprinkle with provolone cheese.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Pairs well with crispy French fries or a fresh salad. For storage, leftovers can be kept in the fridge for up to three days, or freeze the unbaked ring for a month. Bake from frozen with added time.
